Une femme mariée: Suite de fragments d’un film tourné en 1964 (1964)
(DVD)
Verdict: Godard is a lover of images, so it’s difficult not to like what he does in all his films > his use of stills and of advertisements, particularly close-ups are excellent.

Abel Gance: The Charm of Dynamite (1968)
(TCM)
Verdict: Not a great documentary on Gance, but some fantastic images from J’Accuse et La Roue, as well as Napoleon.

The Hard Road (1970)
(DVD)
Verdict: Educational sex hygiene and drug film > some great ‘trip’ sequences a la Easy Rider, and some gruesome syphilis shots. The film Juno should watch!

V.D. (1961)
(DVD)
Verdict: Stick with the “good girl” and go to college, OR V.D.! Educational film disguised as a Lifetime-like film.

Seven Women for Satan (1976)
(DVD)
Verdict: Low-budget, erotic, French film of the 1970s > quite experimental, somewhat interesting.

Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam (1995)
(BCForum at SBCC)
Verdict: Broomfield, a great documentary persona!

I Am Legend (2007)
(DVD)
Verdict: Bad acting, bad effects, not story > doesn’t work at all. And, a terrible ending, so obvious.

Zidane, un portrait du 21e siècle (2006)
(DVD)
Verdict: Could have been more than it it > and a non-climatic ending, which portends to the 2007 World Cup unfortunately.
