Verdict: Strong use of visuals > the silent era had not gone away for Machatý. And with Hedy Lamarr.

Verdict: Godard is a lover of images, so it’s difficult not to like what he does in all his films > his use of stills and of advertisements, particularly close-ups are excellent.
