star3: This is a strong film, either well made but lacking great creativity or creative but unable to execute it convincingly or persuasively.

star2: A film that is interesting perhaps in one aspect but which is highly limited in others. Not much here.

star1: This film is not a complete failure. There are some moments that are convincing, but overall this film goes nowhere.

star0: A film which is a complete waste of time. This film has little redeemable value, and the filmmaker needs to reconsider what h/she wants to accomplish when making films. This filmmaker is lost.
